Nine sticks, all in stock. Two come from Indonesia, TEREA Green and TEREA Blue, and seven are Japan editions: TEREA Mint, TEREA Menthol, TEREA Bright Menthol, TEREA Yellow Menthol, TEREA Fusion Menthol, TEREA Tropical Menthol and TEREA Purple Menthol, which is not the colder Black Purple. Check the sale unit before you order: Green, Blue and Tropical are ten-pack cartons, and most of the Japan editions are single packs of 20. All nine are made for IQOS ILUMA: ILUMA i ONE, ILUMA i or ILUMA i PRIME. They don't heat in the older blade IQOS, and we don't sell HEETS.

TEREA Turquoise Italy is the zesty, lighter menthol IQOS sells in the UAE, and the Turquoise Switzerland carton is the same stick by the ten-pack. TEREA Purple Wave Indonesia is the fresh and forest berry one. Colder than anything above are the Black series sticks: Black Menthol Japan and Black Purple Menthol Japan, with Black Green Indonesia on the mint side. Want a capsule? Sharjah and Ajman take one to two hours, and the rest of the UAE, Abu Dhabi included, about 12 hours. It's cash on delivery everywhere. Which TEREA is menthol?

Everything on this page, to start with, plus Turquoise, Purple Wave, the Black series and the Pearl sticks on their own pages. The ones with no cooling at all are the plain tobacco sticks: Amber, Sienna, Bronze, Teak and Silver. Yellow sounds like it might be, but its zesty note is citrus with no menthol behind it. If the listing never mentions menthol, mint or cooling, you can take it the stick has none.

Which one first, and which is coldest?

First-timers do best with Mint, Green or Bright Menthol. All three keep the cooling easy and the tobacco light, so nothing jumps out at you. The coldest of the nine are Blue and Menthol Japan, both led by a peppermint chill that fills the whole puff, which is where to go if you're leaving a hard menthol cigarette behind. Colder again is the Black series on its own page. The four with fruit, Yellow Menthol, Fusion, Tropical and Purple Menthol, keep the fruit as an aroma over the cold rather than making the stick sweet. Light, deep and bold describe how cold a stick feels, nothing else, and we don't quote nicotine numbers because IQOS doesn't publish them.

Mint or Menthol: what is the difference?

The names tell you the difference. Mint Japan is the leaf: fresh and green, with the tobacco still plain underneath. Menthol Japan is the ice: deep cooling, peppermint, a rounded finish that stays in the throat. If fresh is what you're after, take Mint. If it's the cold hit, take Menthol.

Which IQOS devices take these menthol sticks?

Any IQOS ILUMA: for our customers that's ILUMA i ONE, ILUMA i or ILUMA i PRIME. Push the stick in as far as the printed line, wait for the buzz that tells you it's ready, and carry on until a second buzz warns you the stick is nearly finished. Older blade-style IQOS devices, the ones that took HEETS, won't heat a TEREA stick, and forcing one in can damage the heater.
