Why so many Indonesian TEREA sticks use clove
Why clove? It's an aroma people in Indonesia already know well, since kretek cigarettes have been smoked there for a long time. What does it smell like? Warm, a little spicy and almost sweet. None of the Italy or Swiss sticks we stock have it.
The Editions: tobacco and clove
The Editions are the heart of the Indonesian range. Each starts from tobacco and clove, then goes its own way:
- Emerald Edition: fresh-feeling tobacco with clove, kept simple.
- Scarlet Edition: smooth tobacco with a clear clove aroma.
- Golden Edition: smooth tobacco and clove, plus a hint of fermented plum.
- Auburn Edition: warm tobacco and clove, softened with apricot and vanilla.
- Mulint Edition: tobacco, clove, a cool touch and a berry-like aroma.
- Minago Edition: tobacco, clove and a cool, fruity feel.
- Berrine Edition: tobacco, clove, menthol and fruit-floral notes.

Pearl sticks: press the capsule when you want it
Pearl sticks have a small capsule in the filter. When do you press it? Whenever you like. Squeeze it and the aroma changes, or leave it alone and you just get the base taste.
- Strawberry Pearl: strawberry and basil in the capsule, with clove behind it.
- Passion Fruit Pearl: menthol and clove, with a passion fruit capsule.
- Bermin Pearl: clove and menthol with a forest-berry capsule.
- Perint Pearl: clove-led tobacco with a fresh feel and a capsule in the filter.
- Riviera Pearl: menthol with a raspberry and floral capsule.
- Oasis Pearl: tobacco with a tropical-fruit capsule.
- Sun Pearl: tobacco with a sweet fruit capsule.
Menthol and fruit, no clove
- Blue: deep menthol, peppermint and a creamy note.
- Green: green mint and menthol over light tobacco.
- Purple Wave: deep menthol with dark forest fruit.
- Bright Wave: smooth tobacco, menthol and a fresh green-fruit aroma.
- Black Ruby: strong menthol with raspberry and a floral finish.
- Black Green: intense menthol with a fresh green-fruit aroma.
Tobacco-led sticks and Dimensions
- Sienna: rounded and toasted, for anyone who'd rather skip the cooling and the fruit.
- Bronze: a mellow tobacco with warm cocoa and dried fruit around it.
- Dimensions Apricity: richer, with fruit and woody aromas and a creamy finish.
- Dimensions Yugen: lighter and more aromatic, leaning on fruit and floral notes.
Where to start with Indonesia
Never had clove before? Start with Scarlet or Emerald, as both keep it simple. Like menthol? Bermin Pearl and Passion Fruit Pearl give you clove and cooling together. Want to skip clove altogether? Stay with Sienna, Bronze, Blue or Purple Wave.

Every stick here is for IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices only. None of them fit older HEETS devices. Most come as cartons of 10 packs with 20 sticks each.

Do all TEREA Indonesia sticks have clove?
No, a little under half do. Blue, Green, Purple Wave, Sienna, Bronze and the Dimensions sticks have no clove.
Will Indonesian TEREA work in an IQOS ILUMA bought in the UAE?
Yes. TEREA sticks aren't tied to a country. Any ILUMA or ILUMA i model will heat them.
What's the difference between an Edition and a Pearl?
Editions have their flavour built into the stick. Pearls have a capsule in the filter that you press to add the aroma.
Which Indonesian TEREA is the coldest?
Black Ruby and Black Green have the most intense menthol, followed by Blue.
Which TEREA Indonesia flavours are best for IQOS ILUMA?
That depends on you, really. Scarlet or Golden if you want clove and tobacco, Blue or Purple Wave for menthol, Bermin Pearl for a capsule. Can't decide? Order two different styles and compare them side by side.
